Frogner Park is one of the top sights in Oslo and one of our two main goals for the day. The second one was the Kon-Tiki Museum. We would have also liked to have also seen the well-preserved Viking Boat but unfortunately that museum is under renovation until 2024.Part of Frogner Park is an area is filled with more than 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland (1869–1943) in bronze, granite and cast iron, including The Angry Boy (Sinnataggen), The Monolith (see below) and The Wheel of Life. The statues range from everyday life to "what the heck is that about?" It is a pretty amazing display of statues and one man's lifelong effort. The Angry Boy is to the right and I'll add some other photos of statues at the end.
Apparently statues are a big thing in Oslo as there are numerous ones all around the city.
On the left is the original Kon-Tiki raft.
